Christmas Wish: Give HOPE to a Family in Need

I would like to thank you all for supporting Dawn’s Angel Wish Network through your gifts, encouragement, promotion, prayers, etc. throughout the year. Your efforts have raised money for non-profit organizations, encouraged individuals in crisis, and blessed those experiencing an immediate need. But what you have really provided to others goes beyond the physical; you have helped to provide HOPE!

Have you ever been in a situation where your hope was lost? I have. And I know that many of you have been there too. When you lose your HOPE, you feel you have nothing left. It is the darkest, scariest place on earth! But inevitably, God sends an angel to bring you that ray of light to help you out of that lonely place. You have served as that “ray” through your generosity; that’s why you are called “angels”.

December Request: To provide some HOPE to families in crisis this holiday season. We have partnered with Edgewood Village and identified two families who could use help. Many of us have an abundance of HOPE to give. I request that you “donate it” in the way God leads you. And I know that as you freely give HOPE, it will always be there for you in your time of need.

The Need:
**Family 1: NEED ITEMS: Hat/Gloves, Sheets (King), Boots (size 10 (mens), 13(female child), 8.5 (female child)), pots/pans
WISH LIST ITEMS: PX90 DVD, guitar, bike, Baby Alive, Dooddlebops

**Family 2: NEED ITEMS: Towels, wash cloths, monthly bus pass, can opener, cordless phone, tennis shoes (mens size 13), Ivory bar soap, paper towels, dish soap
WISH LIST ITEMS: CD Player, Glow Doodle, Play Doh, Slippers, Perfume/Bath/Body Wash, Boots (female size 7.5 wide)

The INSTRUCTIONS: Please email Dawn's Angel Wish Network if you would like to help. Deadline: December 13, 2009.

The Reward: HOPE!

November Wish: Respite for Cities in Need

Amazing! Incredible! Inspirational! Comforting! BEAUTIFUL!!!! These are just a few words some use to describe the wonderful work of Kati Russell, Angel Artist. But what really makes her artwork unique?

Kati has earned these titles for not only the visceral beauty of the angelic images she paints, but also for her miraculous talent. You see, Kati’s ability is God given. She was NEVER trained to paint! In fact, she had never picked up a paintbrush before having a near death experience in February of 1986. After that incredible day, God took her life in a new direction. She was called be an angel artist exclusively. And the images that come through her are so powerful, they speak to each person in a unique way, reminding them that God has sent His special messengers to provide help and comfort…NOW! The power and healing energy from her work has touched countless souls around the globe. But God wants to take it a step further…

WHAT IF these incredible angelic images could be used to change the energy of distressed CITIES in a way never conceived? WHAT IF the images could be used to usher in PEACE?? WHAT IF the images were used as a symbol to restore hope to the hopeless in distressed communities around the world?? Meet the Angels Coalition.
*****************
The NOVEMBER REQUEST: The Angels Coalition would like to come to your city to spread the message of HOPE, LOVE, and PEACE to all by leaving a 40 x 50 ft. Archangel Michael Peacekeeper Angel in a distressed community. This image, originally created for the 82nd Airborne, will serve as a powerful symbol for change and hope in the community…just in time for Christmas.

The NEED:
The Angels Coalition is looking for individuals, companies, and organizations to bring "The Peacekeeper" Angel to cities in need of restoration. Do you know of a city in desperate need of a symbol for change and hope? Would you or your organization like to bring the Peacekeeper Angel to your city? Can you raise awareness about the Angels Coalition movement? Do you know of media outlets that would like to promote this incredible outreach effort? Do you have other ideas or resources that could help the Angels Coalition to fulfill its important mission to restore HOPE in this unique way? Would you like to donate to this cause?

The INSTRUCTIONS: Please email Dawn's Angel Wish Network if you would like to help.

The Reward: Respite for weary souls around the globe.

The Living Rock Church in Kenya is a small church dedicated to helping the growing number of orphans, widows/widowers, disabled, and poor. JULY Wish: The Angels Coalition

The Angels Coalition (www.AngelsCoaliton.com) is a unique artistic outreach effort designed to restore hope to distressed communities throughout the United States and beyond. Founded by angel artist, Kati Russell(www.katirussell.com), and network creator, Dawn Mitchell, the Angels Coalition serves as an “army” of positive angelic messengers sent to deliver love to those in need through the power of visual imagery.

The powerful angelic images operate on a subconscious level and help all who look upon them; no matter what their belief or mindset. The angels know no religious denomination and speak to people from all walks of life.

When one gazes upon the angel, even for a brief moment, the heart opens and circumstances change in a very subtle way. The angels' abstract qualities appeal distinctly to each individual and minister to his/her unique situation. Angels have the ability to tap the healing power we all possess within.

With the bleak economic outlook, disease, wars, negative messages, etc. that bombard our nation each and every day, we need a positive force working on behalf of love…we need HOPE now!! The Angels Coalition is here!!!

You are invited to join the Angels Coalition movement!!

The JULY REQUEST: The Angels Coalition would like to come to your city to spread the message of HOPE, LOVE, and PEACE to all.

The NEED: The Angels Coalition is looking for individuals, companies, and organizations to become sponsors of "The Peacekeeper" Angel. Would you like to become a sponsor or do you know of an individual, company, or organization that would like to get involved? Can you raise awareness about the Angels Coalition movement? Do you know of media outlets that would like to promote this incredible outreach effort? Would you like to assist the Angels Coalition in bringing an angel to your city to promote HOPE, LOVE, and PEACE in a distressed area? Do you have other ideas or resources that could help the Angels Coalition to fulfill its important mission?

The INSTRUCTIONS: Please email me at Dawn-Mitchell@sbcglobal.net and let me know how you would like to help. Also, please visit the Angels Coalition website at www.AngelsCoalition.com.

JUNE WISH: In Search of Community Angels

As founder of Dawn’s Angel Wish Network, I am blessed to meet some of the most amazing people on the planet! Daily, I come across those whose mission is to help others. It warms my spirit to observe so many willing to step into their respective purposes and utilize their talents to serve! Some care for the elderly, kids, or animals. Some write or speak to encourage. Some give so freely of their financial/material resources. Others teach, organize, paint, or sing to inspire. And still there are some that simply know that being the conduit through which God’s light flows helps heal the entire world. This month, the wish is for readers to answer a very simple question: Do you know someone extraordinary that the world needs to know about? If so, I urge you to participate in the JUNE WISH!

JUNE REQUEST: Dawn’s Angel Wish Network is looking for COMMUNITY ANGELS. Do you know someone who has a heart of gold, works diligently, selflessly, and deserves some recognition?

The NEED: Help us locate these people!

The INSTRUCTIONS: In one page or less, tell us about who has inspired you through their example of service. Please include your name/contact information, the name of your nominee, and why you believe he/she should be honored as a COMMUNITY ANGEL. The deadline is July 1, 2009. Please email your nominations to Dawn-Mitchell@sbcglobal.net.

The REWARD: Let’s show love to those who show love.

MAY Wish: A Kidney for Tiffany

Meet Tiffany Douglas…professional…lover of life... positive… intelligent…faith-filled…beautiful…single parent of Cara (age 5) and Christian (age 7). Tiffany was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease seven years ago while pregnant with her first child. There will be no cost to you to get tested and you do not need health insurance to participate. All expenses will be paid. It does not matter where you are geographically located within the US.

The NEED: Would you like to be tested? Do you need more information on the process? Can you provide some encouragement (send a letter/card/email) to Tiffany? Have you gone through this process before and can give her some words of wisdom? Do you have other information that can help? Do you know of organizations that could help us help Tiffany? APRIL Wish: Connecting with College Students

COLLEGE! Who remembers those days?? I surely remember them like yesterday. My time as an Ohio University Bobcat seemed to go all too slow as a struggling student taking that LONG walk to class everyday, but as I look back and review the last 17 years, I realize...UM…that 17 years is NOT a typo! Whoa! I’m sure that times haven’t changed much; I’ll bet Ramen Noodles are still all the rage! We all know that many college kids don’t have a lot of money OR resources. In fact, with the ever-increasing cost of tuition and books, it’s a miracle that most of them have any money left over for necessity items like clothes, toiletries, etc. However, I have been blessed to come across an organization that has a solution to this dilemma. I encourage you to participate in the APRIL WISH by joining forces with a ministry determined to “fill the gap” through helping college students in need.

APRIL REQUEST: Many college students are facing a tough time. With tuition payments, high priced books, a tough economy, etc. there’s little left over for necessities. Let’s help the college students in need!

The NEED: Would you like to join forces with College Students Ministries (CSM), a 501c3 organization, by donating to help students with basic necessity items? CSM visits state colleges/universities throughout Ohio and delivers special care packages to students in need. Items included in the care packages may include: toothpaste, washing powder, shampoo, soap, shaving products, clothing, accessories, etc. In addition, CSM ministers through delivering spiritual encouragement to support students on their journey towards graduation! Can you forward this blog to others who may want to help college students? Do you have information that may help CSM affect more college students?

The INSTRUCTIONS: Please email me ASAP Dawn-Mitchell@sbcglobal.net if you are interested in donating to CSM, or if you require additional information.

The REWARD: You could let a college student in need know that he/she is loved!

Can you inspire someone to step out on faith and start their own business? How can you support them in that endeavor? Do you have resources to share?? What creative idea do you have to inspire someone in need?

THE INSTRUCTIONS: Think of someone you would like to help. Help them TODAY in whatever way you can. If you need ideas or assistance, email me ASAP at
Dawn-Mitchell@sbcglobal.net. Send the network your stories of encouragement and upliftment to be featured on the blog.

February Request: THE ANGEL SINGS

Welcome! Thank you for visiting D.A.W.N. once again this month. For those of you who are new to this blog, click here to find out more about how D.A.W.N. works.

It has been laid upon my heart to talk about PURPOSE this month in relation to our FEBRUARY REQUEST. Did you know that God has a purpose and a plan for YOUR life? Yes...YOU!!! Did you know that you were created for a specific reason? There is an assignment awaiting you that absolutely no one else in the universe can fulfill. God made a divine "investment" in you by graciously blessing you with wonderful gifts, skills and talents. But there is one condition…you must trust Him to bring forth the FULLNESS of that infinite treasure buried deep within you. When you walk in your purpose you will experience more joy, peace and love than ever before. So ask yourself right now...am I walking in my purpose?

FEBRUARY REQUEST: A young woman with an extraordinary singing talent has made a commitment to walk in her purpose! She wants to step out on faith and allow God to use her voice in a brand new way. She is an "undiscovered talent" who has been abundantly blessed with a strong anointing. Click on the link below to hear a short clip of her performing an original song.

The NEED: So what do you think??? Can you give some encouragement to this young woman to keep walking in her purpose? Do you know anyone who may be interested in helping her? Can you forward this blog to someone who may be interested in finding new musical talent? Do you know anyone in the music industry? Do you have information that you could forward that could help her launch a singing career? What creative and unique ideas do you have to get her “out there”?

The INSTRUCTIONS: Email me ASAP!!! Dawn-Mitchell@sbcglobal.net.
Let me know how you would like to help.

The REWARD: Your efforts will return to you "pressed down shaken together and running over".

January Request: LET'S BLESS OUR ELDERS

Happy 2009! I am so excited about what God has in store for the network this year. Truly, there are some amazing events transpiring and I feel SO BLESSED to be connected to so many ANGELS! Thank you for your love and tremendous support.

Please consider participating in the network request for JANUARY. For those of you who are new to this blog, click here to find out more about how D.A.W.N. works.

NETWORK REQUEST: An 82 year old senior, who has been strong and independent for her entire life, has just been informed that her remaining years will be confined to a nursing home environment due to an illness. Although the home provides great care, her spirits are at an ALL TIME LOW. Imagine a mandatory distribution of your life's possessions, freedom, and independent living status gone with the stroke of a doctor's pen.

THE NEED: Would you like to lift the spirits of this senior? Are you able to write a letter of encouragement? Can you think of a creative way to help? Can you share information that may "bring some light" in her time of need? Can you forward this blog to someone who may be able to help?

THE INSTRUCTIONS: Email me at Dawn-Mitchell@sbcglobal.net. Let me know if you would like to help.

THE REWARD: You could help to make this seniors' transition a little bit easier by sowing your love and encouragement.

An Open Letter of Gratitude

Angels:

The following letter has been submitted to you from Ms. Smith:

TO MY ANGELS:

Thank you all for what you have done for my children and I. I was starting to lose hope. Dawn assured me that there are people who care. I finally could breathe. Thanks to your help, I have hope again. This will be a new year for me. Thank you for all your help.
